Factory Furniture were asked to design and manufacture a range of public seating for the Ocean Estate part of the Tower Hamlets development in London. The pedestal mounted seating was based around the Util wall seating range. The circular ‘comb’ bench, used to provide seating around a tree, was inspired by the Ribbon bench design and was created using a combination of galvanised steel and FSC® timber. Under-seat lighting was also incorporated into the design.
